Are you part of a congregation within a 3-5 hour radius of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY)? Do you have a passion for engaging young people through artistic processes that honor their agency and uplift human dignity?
The Sun-Walking Fellowship at Louisville Seminary is looking for congregations to be part of cohorts that explore how the process of making together strengthens ministries with young people, embedded in intergenerational communities that love and embrace them in all their particularity. The cohort experience is either 4 months or 9-12 months, with 3-5 congregations per cohort. It includes an initial inspiration retreat, grant funds for engaging in artistic practices in your context, an artist-consultant who will help you to navigate interacting with a new art form, and a final Makers Fest Arts Festival, where you’ll present about what you learned through the process, and be able to attend workshops with artists and other congregations doing similar work.
