Terre Haute, Central: Organist Wins Competition

The church organist at Central Presbyterian Church in Terre Haute, Jonathan Rudy, has received first place in the National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance (NYACOP).

First Place – $3,000, the Lilian Murtagh Memorial Prize, funded by Karen McFarlane Artists, Inc., plus career development assistance from Karen McFarlane Artists Inc. and a CD recording on the Pro Organo label.

Proposed Design for the Presbytery of Ohio Valley

The Design Team thanks everyone for the comments, questions and suggestions raised at the June 10 Presbytery Assembly. As we reported that day, we will present a revised proposal and engage in conversation in two locations:

  • July 19: First Presbyterian, Seymour
    (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Eastern Time)
  • July 21: Indiana Presbyterian, Vincennes
    (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Eastern Time)

The same presentation will be made in both locations. No pre-registration is required.
